The missions’ goal is to introduce Canadian and European organizations to potential partners and help them expand their contact base in Europe and Canada. Mission participants will gain access to key business contacts through market briefings, pre-arranged meetings, and business networking opportunities.

Our goal is to assist companies in marketing their products and technologies in Canada and Europe through our extensive network of government and corporate contacts. The above contacts include links to distributors, dealers, business associations, investors, manufacturers and R&D entities.

Encouraging Canadian companies and individuals to attend trade fairs, exhibitions, business conferences and other events taking place in Canada, through direct mailings, press releases and personal contacts. We will help you to coordinate participation in trade shows, speaking at the conference and other activities where exporters can meet Canadian importers.

The Trade Missions also organizes local trade events to promote Eastern Europe technological and consumer products; conducting informative seminars on how to do business and direct investments. The Missions also works closely with the business community throughout Canada to enhance awareness of products available from Eastern Europe and newly developed technologies.

The Trade Missions is assisted by several Russian, Ukrainian and Serbian based entities whose role is to promote Eastern Europe’s industry and exports: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs; The Ministry of International Economic Relations; The Ministry of Economy; The Chamber of Commerce and the Embassies in Ottawa and other organizations that provide information and links to Eastern Europe technologies, innovations and products.

The Missions is assisted upon request by various Canadian entities such as ministries of economic development and trade on the federal and provincial levels, as well as by economic development offices, boards of trade and chambers of commerce in various local municipalities throughout Canada, and also by many grassroots volunteers.

We work with customers in Canada and Europe to organize a productive and smooth business mission to Canada for European companies (East and West) and vice versa.

Truth to be told, it is not always easy for companies from Eastern Europe to find the right set of partners in North America. Language and cultural barriers, to name a few, are compounded by a certain shortage of knowledge of the country, the industries or sectors that companies are interested in, and lastly, by the distances and time difference.

This is where Omniglobe is indispensable. We offer several options to those who want to organize and successfully accomplish their trip to Canada. As a rule, your company has a pretty good idea about where in the world you want to go and what you have to offer. But does the market need your product or service? How would your product or service compare to what is already in the market? Who should you partner with? These and other questions inevitably come up and need to be addressed.

We will work with you to ensure that answers are found and steps are taken to advance your business interests. As a rule, after your company expresses an interest in doing business in Canada (or Europe), we would open a discussion with you in order to understand the objectives of your mission, including possible companies or sector of interest. Based on your answers, we will craft a proposed itinerary for you. After corrections and adjustments (if required) are approved by you, we’ll get down to working the planned itinerary.

We can take care of arranging for your air transfer to Canada or Europe, meet you at the airport, and provide you with the transportation support during your mission. We can book your hotels and meals, secure the interpreters and (if required) office support staff for the duration of your visit.

We would also work to arrange meetings for you with companies and organizations of interest to you and will accompany you to these meetings to ensure everything runs smoothly.

We can offer you a visa support fro your business mission to Canada as well. However, please note that we cannot guarantee that you will be issued an entry visa to Canada, since it is a sole discretion and prerogative of the Department of Citizenship and Immigration Canada and its representatives at Canadian Missions abroad.
